# Overview

#### Welcome to CalData's Analytics Accelerator! 

We're excited to have you here to explore and learn Power BI together. This workbook is designed to help you build your Power BI skills over 12-weeks. You'll begin with an Introduction to Power BI, then alternate between **learning core concepts** and **applying them directly to a department project**.

You will create a first version of your report while working through a typical Power BI workflow. Along the way, you will:

* Connect to your data sources
* Shape and transform your data using Power Query
* Build an interactive, insightful report
* Publish your report to the Power BI Service
* Share it with team members
* Set up automated data refresh to keep your report up to date
